Shooda-bop-bop

So Wednesday night I finally got around to dragging Kyle to see Damien's play Prelude to a Kiss. I had no idea what it was about, but Damien has been telling me about it for a couple months and really wanted me to see it. So back when Rent was still out I told him that if he saw Rent, I'd see his play. Well, he saw Rent so I have to see his play :P The theatre was much smaller than I expected, I'm so used to going to Neptune Theatre, or even in Grease being in Alderney, so it was a bit of a shocker. It's an amateur play group, I don't think they get payed for it, and they don't get funding, so of course it's small. But yeah, I was definately very surprised at how small it was in there. Then I started feeling bad, because when Damien told me about how nervous he was I said he shouldn't be nervous since you can't even see the audience, and he said he can always see the audience. So I was like "Oh, really? I never can, the lights are always too bright to see past the stage." then he said nevermind. Well, now I know why, and I felt like such a snob afterwards. Told that to Kyle and he said "You are a snob." What a meanie. Anyway, it was an interesting play, kind of strange. Two people fall in love, get married, wife and random old man switch bodies, husband figures out they switched bodies, they switch back. That's the story in a nutshell. But oh my God, when Damien came onstage for his first lines, the woman next to me just went "God! He's tall!" it was so funny! She didn't even whisper or anything, she just outright said it! So that caused me to start laughing and laughing, and I felt bad for laughing incase people thought I was laughing at the actors, so I covered my mouth trying to stop. It was funny. Then everytime Damien came on stage I'd remember the woman saying that and start laughing a bit. Not as much as before, but a little.

After the show, Damien came out so we went to talk to him. I think it's a little sad that I'm his first friend who's gone to see it. His friends suck :P Especially since he's been so excited about it, I mean, he's been telling me forever about how I have to go see it. Back when rehearsals first started, he was telling me I had to go see it, and considering I've only known him since November, it makes me wonder how much he's bugged his other friends who he's known much longer. Reminds me a bit of Grease and how only Jessie, Nicole and Megan came to see it. Other friends were dumb and waited too long and it sold out. I kept telling them to hurry up and get tickets, but did they listen? No. They kept thinking it wouldn't be that good, yes, it wasn't that good, that's why the morning after opening night we were sold out for the rest of the nights. Gah. Speaking of plays, nest week is Neptune night. Yay. Going to go see Trying, I've been seeing it in the papers a lot, so hopefully it's good.

So school has been going well, got two midterms next week though, blah. Anthropology and Biology, should study lots this weekend. I've also got to write up my lab report for Biology, need to see how he wants us to write it because I'm not sure I understand how. We did three different experiments and he wants it all in one report, so I'm not sure how to do the introduction and all that since they each had different hypothesises and stuff. So my lab group is Matt and Chris, and Ahmed since he was partner for the first report, but he skipped the lab that day. There was a soccer game between Egypt and Morocco so he just couldn't go, had to watch his home country. Anyway, I still have no idea why Matt looks so freaking familiar. I mean, the first lab when he sat down near me, he just looked so familiar, and I still haven't figured out why. Chris looked a little familiar too, but I've figured out that he just looks like one of Lindsay's brothers. So I worked with them on the experiments, they seemed nice. Realised that I must have never met Matt before, but he's still so familiar. Maybe he just looks like someone? At first I thought maybe I've just seen him in class before but that's definately not it. Gah. Anyway, I can't seem to figure it out. He must just look alot like someone, even though I can't even figure out who that is. Just someone.

Oh, and Megan has a stalker! It's so freaky. He constantly stares at her on the bus, like not just looking, but outright staring. He's also in one of her classes and always sits next to her, and somehow he knows she lives in Dartmouth. He catches the 14 at school and get off at Scotia Square...there's a fair amount of other stops before the bus gets to Dartmouth, yet somehow he knew. That's so freaky. And scary. So yeah, he been staring at her, sitting right next to her, constantly bugging her and asking questions about her. Pretty freaky. But how would he know she lives in Dartmouth???? He lives in Sackville!!!! Well, at least I should be happy I don't have a freaky stalker, although, it could be considered a little flattering to have someone be obsessed with you...
